SAVIOUR MACHINE: My current project.
  • Hey all.  I have a new webcomic up for everyone to check out.  It's called Saviour Machine and it follows the adventures of two brothers and a mysterious girl amid the fallout after the deicide of God.

    What do you think?

When I look at comics, I usually just look at the art.
Please read the following as a helpful critique and not bashing. I don't bash.

You've made some interesting, non-conventional choices that I have a hard time swallowing.
One thing I find visually distracting is the fact that the tones on your characters are too subtle. The light and dark blend in to each other instead of defining their features. This tends to make them wash out and become flat. When you couple this with heavily saturated backgrounds, the characters [which is what the reader is supposed to be paying attention to] fade into the distance. This can be distinctly seen in the car scene with the two guys. The giant bright blue window jumps out at you distracting the reader from the characters.

Maybe you can desaturate those backgrounds or even put as much detail in them as you do the characters?

Don't get me wrong. You've got a lot going for you. I'm just one guy with a certain taste. Keep it up!
