    Hello. My name's Big Mike Walton and I'm to blame for False Positive (falsepositivecomic.com), an ongoing anthology of short webcomic stories. 

    The comic explores a variety of archetypes and tropes from horror, fantasy, & science fiction genres. It's a labor of love and I'm having a blast making and sharing the project.

    I especially love the ongoing discussion occurring in the reader comments with each new page. It's awesome how webcomics allow for the unique experience of reading a comic with a community.

    I really liked the old background you had up with the bluish wallpaper and black splatter...
    I always wanted to ask you how you created that so I can make one of my own!

    dj- I like to mix things up.  I decided to make a more neutral background for the second season.  The first one was created with a lot of cutting in pasting in photoshop to get the pattern and then some digtial painting and scanned real-world painting to create the textures and splatters.

    I really like the series; but I definitely prefer the tales where you have a bit more time to connect with the motivations and understandings of the character in focus. I think 'Detained' Is my favorite, but I'm a little bit behind! A fact I'll have to remedy.
